We currently have numerous apprenticeship vacancies available in our Warrington based offices for those who are looking to begin a rewarding career in the legal sector. Successful applicants have the opportunity to begin a career with zero experience and progress through our apprenticeship career pathway all the way to Fully Qualified Solicitor.

💡 What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is an on-the-job training programme that develops an employee's knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to perform in their job role. They are used to train both new and existing members of staff, allowing individuals to gain a qualification at the same time as gaining work experience and earning a wage. The training is designed to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the individual and their employer. You will be supported through your studies internally by your line manager and our Learning and Development team.

💡 How does it work?
There is a variety of learning practises; on-the-job, face to face online with a dedicated tutor, Group sessions, assessments and learning journals.

💡 Who can apply?
We offer x3 levels of Apprenticeships to suit a mixture of experience levels.

1️⃣ Legal Administrator (Level 3) 15 Months
The Legal Administrator programme focuses on business structures and regulation specific to the legal sector and includes additional content covering the key legal concepts relevant to a selected area of practice

2️⃣ Paralegal (Level 3) 24 Months
This apprenticeship is a perfect entry point for apprentices new to legal services post A-levels or those joining the sector later in their careers. Combined with our solicitor apprenticeship it can be used as the first step on the path to qualification as a solicitor.
On completion, apprentices can apply to the National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) to become a registered Paralegal Technician. Depending on experience and qualifications, progression to Associate and Fellowship status may be possible. For apprentices interested in the CILEX route, the apprenticeship also grants exemption against certain CILEX Foundation units

3️⃣ Solicitor Apprenticeship (Level 7) 18/ 35 months
Our solicitor apprenticeships bring together Damar’s longstanding expertise in legal apprenticeships with the technical expertise of BARBRI, a global leader in vocational legal education. Built to meet the needs of legal services employers and their teams, our programmes provide a route to qualification for paralegals, including former paralegal apprentices, and new or existing colleagues with some prior legal qualifications or experience.
