Last month, we took a moment to celebrate and recognise the importance of wellbeing across our firm. On World Happiness Day, staff were gifted daffodils as a small gesture to brighten the day and encourage positive wellbeing conversations.

We were also proud to see our Practice Manager, Nicola Harding, featured on Seahaven FM in conjunction with Matt Ellis from East Sussex County Council Wellbeing at Work, where she spoke about the importance of wellbeing in the workplace and how a supportive environment benefits both individuals and teams.

Wellbeing continues to be a key priority for our firm, and we remain committed to fostering a positive, supportive, and healthy workplace for everyone.

Following the success of our fundraising quiz, we are keeping the momentum going with a new challenge for May.

This month, some of the Dawson Hart fundraising team are aiming to cover as much distance as possible through running or long walks, all while trying to raise some more funds for our charity of the year - Friends of Eastbourne Hospital.

If you are able to support us by either donating or sharing our JustGiving link, we would greatly appreciate it!

We are already just shy of covering 200km, so we look on track to smash our goal of at least 500km👀🏃‍♀️

Last night, at The Highlands Inn, Uckfield, we held a pub quiz as part of our endeavour to raise funds for our Charity of the Year – Friends of Eastbourne Hospital. This was a fabulous event, made all the more special by the local businesses who came along and took part – helping make it the success it was. We are so proud to announce that we raised a total of £920 on the night!
A big congratulations to the Huxley’s team, who were the champions of the quiz, and to all who won something in our raffle.
A huge thank you to C J Thorne & Co Ltd for kindly sponsoring the night, and also to all the other teams who participated – Ashdown Radio, Oldfield Smith & Co Ltd, Peter Oliver Homes, Richard Green Funeral Service, Swindells Accounting, and THE STORES DEPT.
