Well these are strange circumstances in which we are all living at the moment. Trust Wills are still busy writing Wills and preparing Lasting Power of Attorney documents for clients. It is possible to take instructions over the phone or by email and then make a visit to confirm all the details … visiting the home and keeping a safe distance or, weather permitting, sitting in the garden!!! I don't appear to have written a post for a long time - because I am busy!! People do seem to realise how important it is to make a Will and also to think about the necessity for a Lasting Power of Attorney. These days, without an LPA, relatives can do nothing to ensure that bills are paid and finances kept in order if you are incapacitated in any way. If you have not yet made a Will or LPA and think that it is time to do so, please do get in touch - it's not nearly as daunting as you probably think and I visit my clients in their own homes at a time to suit them. I am based in Tutbury but have clients all over the Midlands and beyond!!! I look forward to hearing from you …….

We are now well into 2015 - are you sure that your Will is up to date and reflects your current situation? Do you have a Lasting Power of Attorney in place in case you are unable to manage your own finances?
