We do not have any vacancies at the present. If a property does become available we will advertise through Woods Lettings Agents, Paignton. We do wish everyone well, these are are hard times with inflation soaring away but I am sure that this situation is only temporary and better times are ahead for us all.

A tip I picked up this morning from a landlord services company : Buy cheap full sugar coke and pour it down every sinkhole, toilet, shower and outside drain. Wipe it off chrome fittings, leave it for 24 hours and wash it through thoroughly. This is the best way to clear the pipes and drains of grease, rice, pasta, hair, shower products etc. If your tenants do get a blockage tell them to do this first. If the toilet is blocked, tell them to begin with a mug of fabric conditioner, and after 5/6 hours (without using the toilet) pour down the coke and leave it overnight. It will clear even sanitary wear and nappies and clean the toilet and pipes.

I will never strong arm anyone but I do warn people frequently about the dangers of smart meters. To show you what I mean, I screenshot the comment below on my phone to share with you. Happy 2024 everyone and whatever you do, maintain a healthy distrust of the establishment. 👍

So, councils are going broke unless they raise their locals taxes by 10 - 15% and you will no longer be able to afford to heat your homes. Insurance premiums are sky-rocketing because re-build costs are sky-rocketing. What do you think the solution is?

Sky Glass TVs bypass the need to install a satellite dish by working through a Wi-Fi connection, and start at £39 a month

A notice to all tenants and tradesmen working in our properties :

I am sending out the following suggestions that you may wish to follow; the basic principle is use your common sense and respect the choices of others even if you question their logic.

* Clean surfaces around the working area and in ‘high traffic’ areas such as door handles with disinfectant before, during and after work is carried out.
* Keep internal doors open and minimise touching of door handles.
* If work is taking place in an area you use frequently, such as the stairs or kitchen, consider ways to avoid using that space when work takes place.
* Ask your tradesperson to bring their own mug, kettle or food.
* Try to avoid too much face-to-face contact with those working in your home – ideally less than 15 minutes.
* Make sure any shared facilities, like toilets or kitchens, are thoroughly cleaned after each shift.
* Tradespeople may opt to wear face coverings, in line with government advice.
* Keep children or pets in other rooms while work is carried out, where possible
