In 2016 Neil Harvey saw trouble coming and made one simple decision that would change everything. He started hosting on Airbnb from his own home. Within 8 months he was generating over £3,000 a month.

When he and his business partner were forced to liquidate their business in 2017, leaving them with half a million pounds in personally guaranteed debt overnight, that hosting income became his lifeline.

Four years later the debt was cleared. Today Neil lives entirely from his hosting income, having welcomed over 2,000 guests from more than 40 countries and clocked up over 17,000 guest-nights, all from his own home.

He is joining us at PPN Oxford on June 11th to share his story and we cannot wait. 🤩

What a night to come back to.

After a couple of months away, including an unforgettable trip to Ghana where some very exciting conversations happened with developers I’ll be working with (more on that soon) – walking back into the PPN Oxford room felt like coming home.

The energy in that room is something else. Real conversations, genuine support, people actually connecting. It’s exactly why this community matters.

A heartfelt thank you to co-host Shweta for holding everything together so brilliantly while I was away. Your consistency and commitment do not go unnoticed. 💕

We were also treated to a fantastic keynote from Peter Baker, and the conversations and collaborations that filled the evening were exactly what PPN Oxford is built for, bringing the right people together with conversation & collaboration.

Almost three years in, and what we’ve built at Progressive Property Network Oxford is something I’m incredibly proud of.

This has never been about a once a month event or just bringing in speakers.

It’s about creating a space where people show up consistently, support each other, share opportunities and build meaningful relationships.
