Following the budget announcements yesterday, we have been compiling all of the key tax changes to help you plan ahead. Employment taxation is arguably the biggest tax rise in this budget.
National Insurance Contributions (NICs) are now up to 15% from 13.8%
The employee threshold for employer NICs is dropping from £9,100 per year to £5,000.
The Employers Allowance - the amount you can claim back from you National Insurance bill - has now risen from £5,000 to £10,500.
National Minimum Wage is now:
£12.21 per hour for those over 21,
£10 per hour for those over 18 and below 21
£7.55 for those over 16 years old and under 18 years old and apprentices.
