We are delighted to welcome Benedicte Holtan to our growing team. Benedicte graduated with a Law Degree (Hons) from the Open University, July 2022.

Since then, she has worked at a Law firm in Devon, where she began her training in the conveyancing, private client and litigation departments. She gained experience in Will writing and assisted the conveyancer with residential sales and purchases for freehold and leasehold matters.

Benedicte, who is Norwegian by birth has a passion for music and sport. Growing up with musical parents, led to leading a jazz band for a few years. As her son is a competitive swimmer, she qualified as a Swim England Judge to assist during the weekends swim meets. In addition, Benedicte loves seaside walks with her son and cocker spaniel.

Benedicte joins our team as a Paralegal. She will then continue her training to become a qualified solicitor.

Tea Shonia joins the Residential Conveyancing Team as a consultant. With an impressive background and a wealth of experience in the legal field this will mean that we will have increased capacity to look after more client cases.

Her journey began with a law degree, and she further honed her skills by completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University in London in 2013.

In 2021, Tea achieved a significant milestone in her career by becoming a Chartered Legal Executive, and in 2022, she added another feather to her cap as a CILEx Conveyancing Practitioner. Her dedication to professional growth aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence.

Welcome Bernice Browning to the Chilcotts team!

Bernice will be the first point of contact for many clients old and new, as she
joins us as a Legal Receptionist. Having enjoyed a lengthy career as Personal Assistant and Executive Assistant in various public sector organisations, she will be an asset to the Concierge team.

With the increase in calls to the office following our highly successful recruitment of Consultant solicitors since late October 2022, we wanted to ensure that we continued our reputation for providing a high quality client care experience.

We were pleased to get a visit from Ellie Allen last week and to be able to hand over a cheque towards her once in a lifetime adventure to Nepal.

Ellie is a student nurse in her last year of training. She is doing her last placement in Nepal. She is swimming 354 lengths in a 25 meter pool, which equates to the height of Mount Everest with the aim of raising £2000.

Providing that she can hit her target, then £1000 will go to the Pahar Trust, who improve the standards of education, health, and sanitation for rural and isolated communities in Nepal.
