🐄 What I see all the time as The Cow Injury Lawyer…

“I didn’t think I could claim.”

🐄 Meet “Donald”… (sadly this isn’t the Donald, but you get the idea)

The actual buffalo that’s gone viral in Bangladesh weighs in at around 700kg and has been pulling in crowds ahead of Eid… thanks to its rather distinctive look.

We couldn’t resist doing our own version 👀

Now, while this one is safely minding its own business…

Let’s not forget 👇
Animals of this size are incredibly powerful — and even the calmest-looking cattle or buffalo can become unpredictable in the wrong circumstances.

We regularly hear from people who thought:

➡️ “It looked friendly enough”
➡️ “It was just standing there”
➡️ “I didn’t think it would react”
…right up until it did.

✅ Always give livestock plenty of space
✅ Be especially cautious on public footpaths through fields
✅ And never underestimate how quickly things can change
Because at 700kg… you’re not winning that argument.

Walking near cattle this weekend? Read this first…

At this time of year, we’re seeing a rise in serious injuries caused by cows — especially where calves are present.

Most people don’t realise:
➡️ Cows are naturally protective and can act unpredictably
➡️ Even experienced walkers can be caught out
➡️ Attacks often happen quickly, with little warning

Top safety tips:
✔️Keep dogs on a lead — but be ready to release if threatened
✔️ Avoid getting between cows and their calves
✔️ Stay calm and move away steadily if approached

🐄 A small update… (and a big one for me)
You might have seen me referred to before as “The Cow Lawyer” —
But from today, I’m officially rebranding as:
👉 The Cow Injury Lawyer
Because that’s exactly what I do.
I act for people who were just enjoying a walk —
often on a public footpath, sometimes with their dog —
…and then something goes wrong.
A cow charges.
Someone gets knocked down.
And afterwards, they’re told:
“It’s the countryside… these things happen.”
But that’s not always the full story.
Over time, I’ve built a real specialism in these claims —
helping people understand their rights and recover compensation where proper safety measures weren’t in place.
And one thing I hear again and again is:
“I didn’t even think I could claim.”
That’s why this rebrand matters.

🐄 Important reminder for dog owners and livestock keepers alike.

The law around livestock worrying has now changed, with much tougher penalties in force.

For farmers, this is a welcome step. For dog owners, it’s a timely reminder: keep dogs under control around livestock.

Especially important here in Somerset, where livestock, footpaths and dog walkers often share the same countryside.
