Mid Counties store Nailsworth 376 has been completely transformed by this refrigeration replacement project.

• Replaced life-expired chilled refrigeration – previously the oldest in the Society
• Installed new refrigeration and freezers in new locations
• Installed air conditioning to the shop floor
• Relocated Cook’s freezers and increased from two to three units
• Reconfigured ambient shelving, including installing top stocks – all shelving now configured to 1m bays
• Completed a full remerchandise of all ranges
• Overclad all walls on the shop floor
• Completed decoration works
• Repaired flooring where required.

This project has delivered a fresh, efficient, and modern shopping environment for both customers and colleagues.

A fresh new look in Moreton-in-Marsh!

We were pleased to carry out another project for Mid Counties Co-op that included:

• Removal of deli counter
• Install of assist chilled refrigeration case
• Shopfitting and carpentry work
• Associated plumbing
• Feature Floor install
• Extension of gondolas and a wall fixture

We are pleased to be part of a team to complete the latest refrigeration project for The Co-Op, Church Stretton.

This included:
- Aisle Improvements; Old integral cases have been replaced with modern remote cases, improving efficiency and product range.
- Energy Savings; The new system delivers significant reductions in energy use while keeping stock at theperfect temperature.
- Store Layout Benefits; The new entrance fridge is set further back, opening up the front of the store for a morespacious feel.
- BWS Expansion; What was once a single small fridge has now been replaced with two 3.6m cases, one for wine and one for beer.

With an increased risk of flooding due to heavy rainfall climate change, ESS Group were called upon to provide high density polyethylene channel drainage, an underground system, to ensure neighbouring homes were protected from flooding.This system collects water from the surface of a pavement and directs it into an underground drain that, in turn, directs it elsewhere, to the main Surface Water sewer, a nearby ditch or watercourse, If this is something you would be interested in, call us now on 01793 525433.

Demolition and Rebuild for Workwear Shop
We are working closely with structural engineers and building control in the rebuild of a busy workwear shop in Swindon.
It’s a work in progress but with time being of the essence so the shop can re-open, our teams are on hand re-structuring to ensure all materials and build are to building regulations.

A Make-Over at Swindon College

We were delighted to complete on a great project for the Swindon College, transforming an industrial looking shutter door into a glass fronted entrance.

By removing the roller shutter and building a timber frame with beading to match the adjacent existing framework, the result is now a welcoming entrance and a lighter working environment within.

Easy Access for Coffee Shop with Minimum Disruption
We were asked to install a door within a Coffee Shop in Moreton in the Marsh to allow easy access from the storeroom to the coffee shop.
Keeping the door style to match sympathetically with the interior of the shop, we completed on this project with minimum mess or disruption, working over two nights to avoid minimum disruption to trade.

It certainly was a cool transformation when ESS worked on this refrigeration replacement project.
We didn’t waste any time.. this job was started on 16th July and completed on the 21st.
As well as installing new refrigeration, we also carried out all internal and external decoration works, boxing works, fire door installation, stud wall build and flooring repairs.
