What’s the big picture with house prices in Swansea?
Property prices in Swansea rose by just 0.3% over the past year, adding £600 to the typical home, according to our June 2024 House Price Index.
The area is significantly ahead of the UK average where prices have risen by 0.1% since June 2023.
The typical Swansea home is now worth £185,000, well below the UK average house price of £265,600.
Over the past month, prices in Swansea have been static. But looking back over the last five years, the average property value has grown by 34%.
