West Wales has more empty properties than anywhere else in Wales. Places like Aberystwyth are thriving towns, however empty units plague the streets like all Welsh towns.

With Aberystwyth and more largely Ceredigion facing the same issues as Pembrokeshire, we are on a mission to team with industry professionals like to revolutionise the way we tackle empty units.

Another empty property successfully sold STC in Pembrokeshire. This property spans three floors with 5 expansive bedrooms. It is located centrally in Haverfordwest and offers the incoming purchaser a blank canvas to create something truly special.

I will not stop until all empty properties in Pembrokeshire are sold. Working for the local community, each property that we renovate will be fed back into the local market either via for sale or for let. Each property that we remove from the empty homes list solves a problem for many that desperately need housing here in Pembrokeshire.

Whilst I completely agree towns in Wales need modernising, I think Haverfordwest is a perfect example of how not to do things.

We have over 8000 people on the social housing waiting list for properties within Pembrokeshire. I am personally making my way through over 800 empty properties which lie idle in Pembrokeshire which could be used. Countless empty shops in the town centre with extortionate business rates.

Spending £8m on a footbridge that connects empty shops on one side of the river to more empty shops on the other is simply insane. Why not spend half of that fund on purchasing the empty properties and employing an action team to renovate these properties for the local community?

I think it’s about time we call the local council out and how funding gets awarded because schemes like this are a complete insult to those that live here.

Not one person I have spoken to is in support of these multi-million pound schemes that the council deem “are necessary”.

I completely understand they get funding and it must be spent, but surely basic logic would dictate that we need a thriving business community before spending obscene amounts on a bridge that connects to nothing?

Maybe I am just delusional, but I cannot see for the life of me how schemes like this get planning, given the bridge itself looks like something out of a theme park?

It’s fair to say I’m upset and disappointed, but unfortunately I am not surprised.

Yet another vacant property sold in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. This property will be converted into 4 studio flats providing much needed accommodation for the people of Pembrokeshire.

This property had a very tricky situation with the current owner however by thinking outside of the box we established a deal that benefitted both parties.
