HMRC have just announced the closure of their self assessment support line for three months commencing June 12th and their moving to a digital only alternative. This is just one indicator of how under resourced HMRC is when it comes to supporting the public.

All of our clients receive year round support via email, telephone and whatsapp during working hours, so you can rest easy that when HMRC doesn't answer the phone, we'll be there for you!

A trial to redirect Self Assessment queries from the helpline to HMRC's digital services will run between 12 June and 4 September 2023.
