Last night, members of the Ben H***e Bell team took part in the Newcastle Legal Walk.

We are proud to support a cause that makes a real difference. The Legal Walk raises vital funds for The Access to Justice Foundation, helping to provide free legal advice services to people who might otherwise struggle to access the legal support they need.

It was fantastic to join others from across the legal community in supporting access to justice and raising awareness of the important work the Foundation does.

We had a fantastic evening on Friday at our annual Summer Party, held this year at YOLO Townhouse in Newcastle. It was wonderful to see so many colleagues come together to relax, catch up and enjoy a well-deserved break outside of the office.

A huge thank you to our trainees for organising such a successful event. Your hard work made for a brilliant evening that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

A special thank you also goes to Christina for creating an impressive cake for the occasion and for once again preparing and hosting a thoroughly entertaining quiz – now officially an annual Ben H***e Bell tradition!

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the evening such a success. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year… and perhaps starting our quiz revision a little earlier!

With a focus on neurological conditions alongside important legal updates, it’s already proving to be an interesting and informative couple of days.

On Wednesday, our solicitors Sarah Purkis and Lauren Taylor had a great time attending the Cardinal Hulme Catholic School Careers Fair.

They enjoyed meeting lots of students and chatting about the different routes into a career in law. As part of the event, Sarah and Lauren also gave a short talk about legal careers and explained more about the Solicitor Apprenticeship route – a pathway we are proud to now offer at Ben H***e Bell.

It was fantastic to see so much interest in the legal profession and to speak with students as they start thinking about their future careers.

A big thank you to Cardinal Hulme for inviting us along – we were delighted to be part of such a great event!
