May kept the Cooklaw team on the move!
From property networking events and business breakfasts to community clinics and industry awards, itās been another month packed with conversations, collaboration, and supporting our local business community.
Hereās a look at what weāve been up to throughout May. š
One of the standout moments of the month was North East Network ās Working Womenās Afternoon Tea at Lumley Castle on the 19th. Members of the Cooklaw team were proud to attend such an inspiring event celebrating leadership, resilience, and the power of women supporting women in business.
The afternoon brought together professionals from across the region for meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and fundraising in support of Poppyās Light Foundation , making it a fantastic example of the positive impact the North East business community can have when people come together.
Another key highlight came at the Blue Bricks Magazine Awards in Liverpool on the 21st, where the team joined property professionals and investors from across the UK to celebrate ethics, innovation, and achievement within the property industry.
It was a brilliant opportunity to strengthen connections within the sector and engage in valuable conversations around the future of property investment and development. š
Sneaking in right at the end of April, with Lee attending Net-Defenceās Pizza and Panel event, an insightful evening of discussion and collaboration with businesses from across the region.
As always, Lee attended Property Investors North East - PINE , where Wendy and Simon Lee shared valuable insight into property flipping strategies and investment opportunities.
We also joined North East Networkās Sunderland Breakfast at the Roker Hotel and attended the Hard Hat to Heels event at Dakota Newcastle, celebrating and connecting with inspiring women across the property and business sectors. š«¶
The team attended Property Search North East Ltd as part of our ongoing commitment to staying informed on developments within the property industry and strengthening professional partnerships.
We were proud to support another fantastic edition of The Property Thing in Darlington, where Adam Lawrence delivered an insightful economic outlook for property investors in the current market. The same morning also saw members of the team attend North East Networkās Team Valley Breakfast at the Ravensworth Arms.
Our Great Park legal clinic returned, providing free and accessible legal guidance to members of the local community. These sessions remain an important part of Cooklawās commitment to giving back and making professional advice more approachable. š¤
Lee travelled to London for Debbie Does Property Networking, contributing to discussions around auctions, fast-track sales, and the legal considerations property investors should be aware of in todayās market.
We rounded off May back at North East Networkās Team Valley Breakfast, continuing the conversations and connections that have made this month such a productive one for the team.
Another busy month, another brilliant set of events and conversations!
Whether we caught up over coffee at a networking breakfast or chatted property and business at one of the many events this month, itās always great connecting with familiar and new faces alike.
