Over the past few weeks, we’ve managed to get a few of our smaller jobs ticked off the list before moving on to some of our bigger projects.

Here are a couple of before and afters from jobs we’ve recently completed, ranging from a roof clean to repainting the render above a bay window. 🏡

We carry out all types of property maintenance work, as well as larger landscaping and building projects, so no job is too big or too small.

Raised decking area completed recently over in Birches Head! 👌

We really made the most of the space at the top of this garden. After the customer had the trees removed, they realised just how much usable space they had – the only problem was the slope!

They asked for my advice on what would work best, and together we came up with the idea of a raised composite decking area. Safe to say, it has turned out absolutely amazing and completely transformed the garden! 🔥

Here’s what we completed:
✔️ Sleeper retaining wall with drainage
✔️ 2x1 batten fencing to the rear of the decking and along the front as a safety barrier
✔️ Kandla Grey sandstone steps
✔️ New turf laid either side of the steps
✔️ Black composite decking
✔️ 2x1 battens fitted to the existing concrete gravel boards to create a much neater finish that ties in with the rest of the project

We also removed the existing steps leading onto the lawn and rebuilt them using sleepers and Kandla Grey sandstone, creating a much stronger, more attractive entrance to the raised deck.

A fantastic transformation that has turned an awkward, sloping area into a practical space the customers can enjoy for years to come.

Some fencing jobs we completed over in Birches Head and Brown Edge last week. 👌🏻

Birches Head 🏡

This was a full rip out and complete replacement. We managed to salvage some of the existing gravel boards and a couple of the old posts to help keep the costs down for the customer.

The old fence had no gravel boards towards the top end of the garden, which meant the fence panels were sat directly on the ground and had started to rot away. 👎🏻

We also created an opening in the fence line and fitted a matching gate, giving the customer easy access down the side of the property to clear all the overgrown vegetation.

Brown Edge 🪵

Another full rip out and start again. This time we installed new posts securely into the ground to create a strong, solid fence before finishing it off with feather edge boarding for a clean, durable finish.

It’s always a pleasure to carry out work for returning customers ☺️

This project took us back to Birches Head, where we removed an old, tired wall and replaced it with a much more modern, clean-looking one. It really lifts the front of the property 🧱

Around the back, the garage area was in need of some much-needed TLC. As it’s a real sun trap, we created a small patio area to make the most of the space. We also installed a dwarf screen wall to hide the exposed concrete from the neighbouring property. This gives the area a much neater and more private finish.

Another happy customer, and a great transformation from start to finish! 👌

Out with the old, in with the new. ✨

A complete garden transformation completed in Birches Head.

I recently returned to this project, which was completed at the end of May, to see how the garden had established. It was fantastic to see how well the new lawn had knitted together and how much the space has come to life.

While the final photos showcase the transformation, they don’t fully reflect the amount of preparation and groundwork that went into achieving this result. Every stage of the project was completed with care and attention to detail, and seeing the finished garden makes all the hard work worthwhile.

There’s nothing more rewarding than helping clients turn their vision into reality. Creating outdoor spaces that our customers can enjoy for years to come is something we take great pride in.

It’s been a hectic few months, finding ways to keep projects moving despite the horrendous weather. Unfortunately, some of our larger jobs have had to be postponed, but we’ve kept pushing forward and got plenty completed 👊🏽

Now it’s time to switch off from business mode and enjoy a well-earned week away in the sunshine ☀️
