You don’t need to wait until everything feels “official”. Having your solicitor ready once your offer is accepted can help get things moving sooner.

2. Searches and enquiries aren’t there to slow things down
They’re there to uncover anything you need to know about the property before you legally commit to buying it.

3. Ask the questions you think are silly
There really is no such thing as a silly question when you’re buying your first home. You’re not expected to understand every piece of legal terminology or know what happens next.
