It's always SO nice to get an email like this! We do try to go out of our way to help our clients with things that are often outside of the day-to-day search stuff - we're not always successful but this one worked out! Our client needed some super-speedy information from a council (often an oxymoron 🤣) for an urgent exchange - we managed to get it, the exchange went through, completion on track for next week and everyone is happy 😊

Plans in for approval with Chelmsford Council for two large data centres, at Beaulieu..... Looks like maybe 75k-80k square feet from the planning docs, with the energy/water use that comes with it. Thoughts? Is that better than more houses?

We don't shout too much about our achievements, but we consistently attain month-on-month and year-on year growth, and in 2025 alone we on-boarded nearly 50 new clients. We've coined the phrase 'Actual Intelligence' to typify the way we work; 27 offices across the country with trained experts not only compiling searches, but working with law firms to ensure they're up-to-date with products and services and getting the best service for themselves and for their clients. 😊

2026 will be a year of continued focus on AI: Actual Intelligence across the X-Press Legal Services network.

Well, that's very nearly a wrap for 2025! It's been another busy one, we've welcomed some lovely new clients on board, had some great events, and as usual I'm racing to the finish line feeling like I'm totally frazzled 🤣 .

A huge thank you to all our amazing clients, our suppliers and our friends - I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and get a good break from the chaos! And an even bigger thank you to my fantastic team for all their hardwork all year. Here's to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2026 for all of us.
