The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancer, preferably a Licensed Conveyancer or qualified solicitor to join our small, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload while working in a practice where client care and teamwork are highly valued.
You will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build transactions
• Shared ownership matters
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Providing clear, practical advice throughout the transaction

About You

The successful candidate will:
• Preferably be a qualified Licensed Conveyancer/Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
• Have at least 2 years' post-qualification experience (although applications from candidates with different levels of experience will be considered).
• Be confident managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
• Be organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively.
• Work well as part of a small, supportive team.

Have you seen missing Darren?

We’re appealing for your help to find a man who has gone missing from St Neots.

Darren Willis, 53, was reported missing from his home in Duck Lane early this morning (9 June) and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Searches are being carried out in the area.

Darren is described as 6’2”, medium build and is believed to be wearing dark navy jeans and a navy hoodie. He may also be wearing a baseball cap.

Anyone who has seen him or who has information concerning his whereabouts should call 101 quoting incident 83 of 9 June.
