The Government announced the new “Your First Home” scheme which is aimed at helping first-time buyers to save for a deposit 💰

The scheme is expected to allow those who are looking to buy their first property in England to purchase a new-build home with a deposit of just 2.5%.

So far, the scheme will be limited to first-time buyers purchasing new-build homes from participating developers. Further details are expected to be announced at the Budget on 28th October.

Congratulations to Hannah Chapman on qualifying as a Solicitor!

After completing her training contract, SQE and legal studies, Hannah officially qualified as a Solicitor earlier this month.

Hannah has worked incredibly hard to reach this point and will now continue her career with our Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team in Romsey.

Why do people choose to gift property?

This week is the first UK National Cadets Week.

We hold the Silver Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme and are signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant. We also have colleagues who have served, been Cadets themselves or worked with Cadet organisations.

Joining the Cadets gives young people the chance to try new things, develop skills, build confidence and take on responsibility.

National Cadets Week is a chance to recognise the volunteers who give their time to make those opportunities possible.

On Wednesday, some of Team PB swapped the office for the racetrack at ’s annual law firm karting event 🏎

As well as some friendly competition, the event was a great opportunity to catch up with other local law firms, all while raising £1,400 for Home-Start Wessex.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped raise such a fantastic amount!
