Welcome back Solicitor Jesamine Somerville! – an expert in Wills, Probate & Private Client issues and former trainee of The Waring Partnership – to support clients with lifetime planning, Wills, probate and other individual issues.

Jes re-joins our highly experienced team at Totton who are in the office and on hand to offer a range of services to the wider community including all aspects of property work family & children matters, wills, probate, and powers of attorney. The Totton office combines its experience and expertise with the Hythe office to create a firm capable of dealing with both residential and commercial property, new build work, shared ownership, family matters including divorce and children issues, wills, powers of attorney, probate and trusts.

Due to the dangerous weather conditions we have closed both offices to protect or staff and clients. We are all still working remotely however and contactable throughout the day by email.

Due to a very high volume of work we have the following immediate vacancies:

1) A property lawyer with substantial legal experience and capable of running a team. The successful candidate will probably be qualified as a Solicitor or Legal Executive.
2) A legal assistant in the Hythe office working in the Private client team
3) A legal assistant in the Property team at Totton

The right candidates will have proven experience in the area, excellent standards of work and client care and be able to work in a team. We will offer very generous remuneration packages for the right candidates.

In the light of the present lockdown and to increase safety we have reduced the numbers within each building to ensure that social distancing is maintained. Some of our team are now working remotely and it may be more difficult to get through by telephone so email is the preferred way of communicating. Clients and members of the general public will not be allowed into the buildings for the time being and the doors to both offices will be locked.
We are however fully operational as normal and only too pleased to help you.

In the light of the recent upsurge in COVID cases in this area and countywide we are taking immediate steps to further protect our staff our clients and the public. The office door will now remain closed and not open to clients and the public. We are reducing the number of people working at any one time in each of the offices to ensure social distancing. This will mean that it may be more difficult to get through to the offices by telephone so email is the preferred method of communication at the moment. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer any face to face meetings for the time being but we are all happy to make arrangements for Zoom or equivalent meetings. These have already become commonplace and are working well.
Please be rest assured that these changes will not affect the quality of client care we offer nor the quality of advice and we are able to work just as quickly as before.
