According to official announcements published by the Home Office, passengers whose UKVI digital accounts are not up to date may have their immigration status left unverified by airlines. As a result, from 25 February 2026 onwards, individuals with incomplete or incorrect information in their eVisa / UKVI account may face the risk of being denied boarding. Before travelling, make sure to check your digital account and confirm that all information is accurate and up to date.

Council Tax is a local charge applied to households across the UK.
For individuals moving into a new property, the following points help ensure accurate registration and billing:

1️⃣ Liability is determined by the tenancy agreement**
In many rental properties, the tenant is responsible for Council Tax.
The tenancy agreement outlines who is legally liable.

2️⃣ A 25% discount may apply for single occupants**
If only one adult resides in the property, a Single Person Discount can be requested.
This reduction is not applied automatically and requires a formal application.

3️⃣ A move‑in notification should be submitted to the local council**
Notifying the council after relocating ensures your account is set up correctly and billed from the appropriate date.

4️⃣ Income‑based support may be available**
Council Tax Support can reduce the amount payable for individuals who meet specific income or eligibility criteria.

The **Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023** introduces a major reform in UK company law.
From **18 November 2025**, directors, Persons with Significant Control (PSCs), LLP members, and those filing on behalf of companies must verify their identity.

This requirement aims to:
- Strengthen corporate transparency
- Prevent money laundering and fraudulent company formations
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations
Actions ,
- Identify all individuals subject to verification (directors, PSCs, LLP members, agents).
- Choose a verification route:
- **GOV.UK One Login** (free, biometric verification)
- **Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)** under AML supervision
- Complete the process **well before the deadline** to avoid delays.
- Obtain and use your **personal verification code** for all Companies House filings.
- Keep accurate records of verification and correspondence.
- Seek professional advice if requirements are unclear.
