FINDING WILLS.
I have many clients over the years that who have not been able to locate their current Wills, for many reasons. I also have regular enquiries from companies who are trying to locate Wills for deceased testators. Many of these requests indicate that the testator has died some 5- 6 years earlier. This means, in most cases that the estate administration has not been completed.
Any person who is unable to find their earlier Wills can just easily complete a new Will.
All of my clients Wills are registered with the National Will Registry and are stored in a professional storage facility, and can always be located. No ongoing fees are charged for this storage.
Make things easier for your executors and beneficiaries, ensure your Wills can be found. It is not advised that you store your Wills i your own home, even in a so called fireproof box.
