Where it all started...
Kelly Pougher began her legal career in 2004. Several years into her career she had the privilege of working on cases involving Autistic children and she soon learnt the importance of how to truly support her clients. However, around 10 years into Kelly’s legal career her own son was diagnosed Autistic. Following any diagnosis comes knowledge and a better understanding but this alone does not solve the challenges faced everyday by families connected with Autism.
Anyone who has spoken with Kelly will know how talented and amazing both her children are; her son for facing daily challenges and always showing up as the best version of himself even in times of adversity and his sister for being an advocate, support and friend to her older brother. Kelly will often refer to them both as special warriors. To support a family connected with Autism is one thing but to help your children adapt, cope and strive to not only reach their amazing potential but to live a life where they feel included is another; and so Pougher- Round Solicitors was born.
Pougher-Round Solicitors is on a mission to lead, educate and advocate as well as raise important awareness, acceptance and understanding of the magnificence that is Autism in the family courts as well as build an all-inclusive hub of support for our client’s and beyond.
Kelly’s passion to achieve her mission and to create a place where inclusion is the heart beat of our world is manifested from a place of personal understanding.
