Symes Bains Broomer Solicitors are looking for a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our Scunthorpe team.

As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important role in providing a welcoming and professional service while supporting the day-to-day administration of a busy law firm.

The role will include:

• Welcoming clients and visitors to the office
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Taking accurate messages and booking appointments
• Managing incoming and outgoing post
• Scanning, photocopying, filing and preparing documents
• Assisting with new client administration and opening files
• Updating information on our case management systems
• Providing general administrative support across the office
• Handling confidential information in line with our data protection and compliance procedures

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Confident communicating with clients in person and over the telephone
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Accurate, with good attention to detail
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Word
• Able to prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment
• A good team player with a positive and flexible approach

Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer-facing role would be an advantage, but is not essential – full training will be provided.
