A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) lets you choose people you trust to support you and, if needed, make decisions on your behalf.

There are two types of LPA:

• Property and financial affairs, covering bank accounts, bills, pensions, investments and property.

• Health and welfare, covering your care, medical treatment and where you live if you are no longer able to make those decisions yourself.

Today marks an incredible 40 years since Rachel joined the firm as an office junior in 1986, when we were known as William Bains Solicitors.
