We have been informed today of a scam whereby individuals are being contacted as ‘DL Accounts’ and requesting payment for accounting services. Although this has not yet impacted any existing clients (as far as we are aware), we wanted to warn you and ask that you please watch out for this. Check any unexpected invoices received to avoid any risk of being scammed whilst we investigate the issue further.

We recommend checking who the email has come from, the invoice address listed and the invoice number - further details on what to look for when establishing if an invoice is legitimate has been sent to clients direct via email.

If you have received an unexpected invoice, please contact the team and we will verify this for you. You can do this by emailing [email protected] for full team visibility or contacting the office on 01726 216110 and a member of the team will assist you.

The team celebrated being shortlisted for ‘Bookkeeping Team of the Year’ a SECOND YEAR running last week! 🤓

We didn’t take away the award but it’s still a great achievement to be selected alongside other industry leaders in accounting!

Good luck to our friends over at Cornwall’s Rewind Radio who are running Cardiff Half tomorrow - you’ll smash it! 🏃‍♀️

Tomorrow Melissa and Helen from our team are running the Cardiff 1/2 Marathon.
Melissa is running for MND Association and Helen is running for a charity close to her heart Tommys, and this is her training in prep for the London Landmarks in April.

This is Melissa's first 1/2 Marathon and she only found out 8 weeks ago, so training has been intense.

Our very own Siobhan Lawrence had a great chat with Institute of Certified Bookkeepers a few weeks ago about who we are, our journey as well as how we see AI helping us as we continue to grow and move forward!

Siobhan Lawrence PM.Dip is a key part of DL Accounts – the business founded by her husband Dexter in 2007. A career journey that began in finance, via time as a primary school teacher has now shifted to payroll and today Siobhan manages around 150 payroll clients while studying towards her next professional qualification and helping shape the future of the business.
