In 2025, alongside achieving B Corp Certification, we continued to focus on meaningful, consistent action across our community. From supporting local charities and schools to sponsoring regional events and delivering practical support to organisations on the ground, community remains central to how we operate.

Highlights included volunteering with Goods for Good, where our team packed essential supplies for those facing poverty and displacement, alongside long-standing partnerships and sponsorships that support local families and initiatives across Hertfordshire.

Lunchtime live music returns to the city centre next week.

St Albans BID Music in the Park continues on Wednesday 3 June, with Mix 92.6 broadcasting live on air from the Civic Rose Garden between 12 noon and 2 pm.

SA Law is sponsoring this BID initiative, bringing monthly live performances into the heart of the working day. Taking place on the first Wednesday of each month through to September, it offers a consistent reason to step away from the desk and reconnect with the city.

The Hertfordshire County Show marked its 140th year this weekend, celebrating the best of county life.

As an event sponsor, we supported one of Hertfordshire’s flagship events, bringing together local businesses, agriculture and the wider community.

Family Partner Marilyn Bell presented the prizes for the Horse National 1.40m Open, recognising an impressive display in the show jumping ring.

Across the showground, the event showcased competition, craftsmanship and the strength of the local community.

With clear skies and sunshine throughout, it was a standout weekend in the Hertfordshire calendar.

Our Spring Plant Sale took place today, bringing colleagues together to support our sustainability commitments and raise funds for two important charities.

Organised by our Green Team, the event drew contributions from across the firm, with a range of plants and pots donated in the lead up. It demonstrated how small, collective actions can drive meaningful environmental impact.

All proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society and Pancreatic Cancer UK, supporting the vital work both charities carry out.

A simple idea, delivered well, with a clear outcome.

A great evening at the Saints Corporate 6ixes on Friday night.

Our team took part alongside a fantastic mix of local businesses, making it a really enjoyable and well-supported event across the St Albans community.

It was great to see so many people there watching and cheering teams on throughout the evening.

Simon Walsh, Partner in the Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, was invited to share his expertise as part of the Law Society Gazette’s latest roundtable discussion on AI.

The discussion brought together representatives from mid-size law firms to explore key findings from Clio’s UK & Ireland Legal Insights Report 2026, including how firms are deriving value from AI tools, alongside the challenges they present.
