Leamington Spa-based Wright Hassall has today joined Top 50 UK law firm HCR Law, to deliver enhanced legal services across Warwickshire and Central England.

Sam Payne, Joint Head, Leamington Spa Office, HCR Law, said: “We’re delighted to be joined by Wright Hassall. This is about building on shared strengths and creating new opportunities for our clients and staff.”

Sam leads the Leamington Spa office with Joint Head, Heath Thomas. It will operate under the name HCR Wright Hassall. The combined firm has 12 offices, 1,060 staff, and a turnover of approximately £112m.

We take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to all those who have served, fought, and made the ultimate sacrifice in times of war and conflict.

This year, our reflections are especially poignant as we recently learnt about two former Wright Hassall employees, Walter Lovell and Robert Joseph Newcombe, who enlisted in December 1914 and were tragically killed within two days of each other during the Battle of the Somme in July 1916.

Remembrance Sunday is a time to honour their courage, resilience and selflessness and to express our gratitude for the peace and freedoms we are privileged to enjoy today.

We will remember them.
