as a result of the RED weather warning place for tomorrow we have taken the decision to close our offices for the safety of our staff members.

Court buildings are also closed. Anyone with court business DO NOT ATTEND. A new date to attend will be notified to you in early course.

Social work offices will be closed - all family time will be cancelled and rearranged for another date. Please do not attend any pre arranged contact sessions for family time

Social work meetings will also be cancelled or rearranged to take place online.

Please speak to your allocated social worker about arrangements to be made.

Children's hearings due to take place tomorrow have also been cancelled and will be rearranged by the children's reporter. Notification of new hearing dates will be notified in due course

COVID UPDATE
As we enter level 4 we are implementing and enforcing the following safety measures within our office. We ask that everyone follows these measures to protect our staff and clients.

COVID 19 UPDATE

From Monday 23 March 2020 both of our offices will remain closed to the public.

We will be continuing to provide a service to our clients through telephone,video calls, emails and Facebook contact only.

Please DO NOT attempt to call into our offices as entry will not be permitted under any circumstance.

We would ask everyone to follow the government guidance in relation to social distancing and isolation in order to safeguard everyone’s health and well being.

As soon as we are able to our offices will reopen and business will resume as normal however in the meantime we require to take the necessary steps to protect our workforce, colleagues, clients and the public in general.

Update from the Scottish courts about jury trials. If you are a client of ours due to attend for the commencement of your jury trial within the next few weeks please contact our office to discuss further.

Based on the Government’s response to coronavirus we are continually reviewing the operation of the courts and tribunals, to ensure that essential services are maintained as far as possible and that we take appropriate measures to protect the health of all court users.

We are a busy law firm with offices based in Paisley and Renfrew specialising in Criminal Defence and Children's Hearings. We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant who will bring enthusiasm, reliability and adaptability to our team. Candidates should have knowledge in the use of standard IT packages (Word, Excel and One Drive).

The successful candidate will support the office manager as well as solicitors within the firm. The post will be based across both branches.
The post will also have responsibility of reception duties for the office, providing a first point of contact for all clients and third party agencies.

Overall duties will include handling telephone and email enquiries, correspondence, audio typing and reception service. Excellent customer service skills are therefore required.

Candidates should communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with the ability to prioritise duties to meet deadlines and work to their own initiative are essential in the selected candidate.

The post will operate on a full time basis, 40 hours per week. Meets NMW
