If you die without a Will your estate passes in accordance with the Intestacy Rules which do not make any provision for partners.

Your partner would not be entitled to any sole assets and they will pass to your children or if you have no children, to other family members instead, potentially leaving your surviving partner in a very vulnerable position.

Due to limited staff, we have made the decision to open earlier Monday to Thursday however will be closed on Fridays starting from the 4th August.

Excellent advice. Too many salespeople out there telling people what they want to hear. Transferring your property into a trust for the purpose of avoiding care home fees, does not work.

Split your house in half and leave a right to reside of a full life interest.
