Myth vs Fact time.π
Myth: New build homes don't get damp, that's an old house problem.
Fact: New homes are often built airtight for energy efficiency, which is great for heating bills, but it also means moisture from cooking, showers and drying clothes has fewer ways to escape. Without good ventilation, condensation can build up just as easily in a five year old house as a Victorian one.
Different cause, same result.
