With the help of Cornwall College Group – the home of Unlocking Potential – we have spent the last 25 years helping Cornish businesses thrive.

By working hard with employees, new recruits and with Cornwall’s business leaders and entrepreneurs, we’ve supported 6,000 SMEs, 2,500 start-ups, 2,600 jobs and delivered more than 30,000 hours of coaching and mentoring.

And, as anyone who’s had any contact with us in those 25 years will know, we’ve always been partial to all kinds of events, workshops and conferences. To anything that taps into and feeds Cornish businesses’ passion for connection, collaboration and growth. Which is why we've had 12,500 delegates on those journeys too.

So, if you’re one of those start-ups, sole-traders, entrepreneurs, employees, or business leaders – it's a heartfelt and poignant thank you from us.

End of an era vibes today at the final Unlocking Potential Breakthrough Workshop. But what an amazing last cohort of entrepreneurs. ✨ What a morning of connections! ✨

Yesterday’s 'How to Build Networks' event was everything we love about our events. It was energetic, full of connection, colour and generosity.

We were treated to:
💬 Allyson Glover (Happy Business) reminding us (through Lego, no less!) that we all have communication superpowers we can tap into.
🤝 Stafford Sumner (Jarrang) shared why the “bank of goodwill” matters and why giving away your best advice is the always the best route to connection and success.
⚡ Sara Pugh (Eight Wire) brought the energy with a brilliant take on using networking to build a CRM of real contacts and opportunities… and how to get the most from it even when networking seems the furthest from what you want to do.

All expertly held together by our host extraordinaire Trevor Lee, and fuelled by mince pie brownies (!!) and a wonderfully festive backdrop from the team at The Barn at Pengelly🎄🍫
