Native Business Enterprise is a joint venture between the Ione Band of Miwok Indians a federally recognized California Indian Tribe and NativeOne Financial Holdings, LLC Native Business Enterprise is a joint venture between the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, a federally recognized California Indian Tribe, and NativeOne Financial Holdings LLC., a native owned company. There are federal rules and regul
ations that allow Native Business Enterprise to conduct in business under the Buy Indian Act*, a federal law protecting Indian Tribes as well as minority preference mandates. OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Native Business Enterprise has created a highly profitable business model and an economic engine capable of:
• Attracting new ventures to the area
• Creating not just jobs -- but careers
• Moving the tribe towards self sufficiency
• Creating & Sustaining financial
independence
After more than 100 years, the federal government is finally allowing the Tribe to buy a portion of their indigenous lands back. STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS:
The federal government spends over 520 Billion Dollars per year purchasing goods and services and mandates fifteen to twenty percent be channeled to minority firms. Our Strategic Partnering business model is structured to take advantage of the Federal and State mandates that direct a portion of all business to minority firms capable of delivering quality services with all the Primary Vendors doing business with the Government. WITH NATIVE ONE FINANCIAL:
By using the same Strategic Partnering business model that created the NativeOne Institutional Trading Company (www.NativeOneFinancial.com), the first ever Native-owned member of the New York Stock Exchange, the newly created Joint Venture will itself partner with large corporations and companies that are currently doing business with the Federal government through the “Mentor Protégé program” (MPP). This program gives financial incentives to those same corporations who bring minorities under their wing to learn the business and to compete with the larger companies while helping level the business playing field. Historically, unemployment within Indian Country has been much higher than the rest of the nation. Currently, unemployment statistics from The White House put Native unemployment rate between 20% and 80 %. JOIN US:
We offer the opportunity for other Tribes to join us and own a piece of the Native Business Enterprise and to explore creating similar strategic business partnerships on your reservations. We also invite any corporation wishing to take advantage of these diversity programs, tax incentives & other benefits, to contact us directly to see how we can structure a profitable business enterprise together.
