Every year I purchase an extra iPhone pre-order for someones benefit. Not every one can place their order at the opening time, so I have here a 256gb sierra blue 13 pro available to someone to buy for the RRP. I do not profit from the sale. I do this only to help somebody who couldnt preorder last Friday. Currently delivery dates for this model are mid-late October.

I am not a scalper, and I hate scalpers, which is why i do this. The RRP is 1049.00 for this device. This is payable by cash or debit card, and will be held for the first person to pay. On Friday 24th, you'll receive a message to say it can be collected.

Can you accept cards?
Can I pay in a way other than cash due to covid?

LovePhones is now using Monzo, which means we’re now able to accept payments using all major debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers, cash and PayPal. Monzo will give you a simple link where you pay the invoice money request instantly using your card.

We can also accept card (including credit card and contactless) at the premises using a reader.

This is encouraging, as without it, I may not be able to continue repairs if manufacturers fully lock down devices.

I’d appreciate any thoughts or opinions on the right to repair movement , do you think it should be law that manufacturers do not design unrepairable devices?

Good morning, Facebook. I would like to pick your creative minds if i may. I'm considering a Website, page and eBay Shop that is devoted to offering parents and teenagers alike advice and sales of refurbished devices as well as rugged chargers, reviewed headphones, and other tech that would be suitable for teenagers. The questions i get more than any other are things like 'what iphone is best for my teenager? how much is this particular phone to fix? is it glass on the back? what charging leads can my boy play his games plugged into without it breaking every 2 days...things like that.
So, I'm thinking of offering refurbished iphone 7/8/SE/X as well as leads that ive tested using my own teenagers and just building up an advice hub. And, most importantly, information about how to set up things like screen time, family sharing and other parental controls for safe device use, without teens feeling too policed and just wanting to rebel.

So, I'm after some suggestions from actual parents of the things youd find really useful as well as (most importantly) a catchy name! Thank you all for your continued support as always. It really does mean a lot.

There’s been a few devices recently I’ve had from parents of children with learning difficulties and autism.

I’ve started to learn that there’s a dependence on working devices for these children in a continuous basis.

Therefore, I am considering the launch of a dedicated repair service for this.

-loan iPad while the damaged one is repaired
-advice on tried and tested protection, charging systems (there are magnetic ones I can order that disconnect off the device if dropped or the lead yanked, like an Apple MagSafe connector.
-priority repair with no data loss (except in exceptional circumstances)
-repairs at unusual times depending on availability and the job type (there would be an additional fee for this)
-general tuition on the use of technology to assist the needs of someone with learning difficulties.

I need your help though.

Please provide any feedback on how this could best work, as a parent of someone with additional needs;

What device, case etc do you guys find is best?

What apps are used, and why / how do they provide benefit, especially for communication?
