We are pleased to announce two upcoming events this term. They are a Drinks Reception so that all interested can find out more about the Disraeli Society, and we are very pleased to announce that we shall be hosting Mr. George Papuashvili, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of George, sometime around 8th week. Next Thursday we will be hosting the renowned law professor John McGinnis!

Professor McGinnis was educated at Harvard University and Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He also has an MA degree from Balliol College, Oxford, in philosophy and theology. Professor McGinnis clerked on U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. From 1987 to 1991, he was deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel at the Department of Justice. He is the author of several publications as well as a past winner of Paul Bator award given by the Federalist Society to an outstanding academic under 40. He has been listed by the United States on the roster of panelists who may be called upon to decide World Trade Organization Disputes.

This event will take the form of a small informal lunch with Professor McGinnis in the gorgeous setting of One Folly Bridge.
