A senior Oxford based family law solicitor with a passion for angling is moving into new waters as he sets up as a consultant solicitor working through HMG Law.
Andy Nellist a very experienced solicitor specialising in family law is also a very successful angler. Andy has previously won the Drennan Cup (running since 1985 and sponsored by the company of the same name based in Cowley) which is the highest award in freshwater angling. Andy is also a long standing member of the British Record Fish Committee which keeps the angling record lists for UK fish.
As a lawyer Andy specialises in acting for clients who are getting divorced or separating and helping them to resolve issues with their finances and arrangements for their children. Andy acts for a broad range of clients but his cases often involve complex issues with businesses, property and investment portfolios, trusts and pensions.
Andy is a member, and an accredited specialist, of the Solicitors Family Law Association (Resolution). Resolution members are committed to their Code of Practice, promoting a constructive approach to family issues that considers the needs of the whole family.

Andy was previously a partner at Royds Withy King in Oxford.

Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal who is able to manage your own caseload with supervision? We are looking for a professional and conscientious individual to join our collaborative team for a period of six months.

Based in our Oxford office, you will assist a busy team of private client fee earners who advise individuals on a broad range of matters including wills, tax, trusts, estate planning, IHT and Powers of Attorney matters. You’ll be given a caseload of files to progress with direction from the highly experienced team.
