A great turnout at our Dereham Business Connections Lunch yesterday, held at Dereham Town Football Club, with almost 40 local professionals and business representatives joining us for an afternoon of networking.

Following a welcome from Laura Rumsey, Director and Head of Private Client at Rogers & Norton, attendees heard from Daniel Mcilwrath, Chairman of Dereham Town Football Club, and Tarryn Stuart from the Alzheimer's Society. Tarryn spoke about the charity's Forget Me Not Appeal 🌼 and shared some of the statistics surrounding dementia, highlighting the importance of raising awareness and supporting those affected.

A fantastic turnout for our Annual Construction Seminar at Dunston Hall last week.

We were delighted to welcome construction professionals, developers, surveyors and property specialists for a morning of practical insight, discussion and networking. The seminar covered a range of key issues currently affecting the sector.

This week is Dementia Action Week, led by the Alzheimer's Society, helping to raise awareness of dementia and support those affected by the condition. 💙

At Rogers & Norton, our Private Client team regularly supports individuals and families with matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications, and we remain passionate about raising awareness and understanding of dementia and its legal implications.

Throughout the week, the Alzheimer’s Society will be hosting a number of local support events across Norwich, where Dementia Advisors will be available to offer confidential advice, guidance and information:

📍 Tuesday 19 May – Benji’s Café, Jarrolds (10am – 1pm)
📍 Wednesday 20 May – The Forum (9am – 3pm)
📍 Thursday 21 May – Marmalade’s Café, Royal Arcade (9am – 12pm)
📍 Thursday 21 May – Castle Quarter (10am – 3pm)
📍 Saturday 23 May – Jarrolds (9am – 4pm)

We’ll also be supporting the Alzheimer’s Society’s Forget Me Not Appeal next month, including hosting Dementia Friends sessions and a Forget Me Not Tea Party for staff in June.

Dereham Day 2026! ☀️🎉

We’re so proud to have returned as headline sponsor of the Little Lifts Trail Run for the third consecutive year – and what a day it was! ☀️

With nearly 400 runners taking on the stunning North Norfolk countryside, this incredible event has already raised well over £20,000 to support people affected by breast cancer. A huge well done to everyone who ran, volunteered, supported and helped make it such a success.
