Oak right-hand quarter landing staircase✨

We manufactured this oak stair for a recent loft conversion project. The handrail, newel posts and spindles have all been designed to match the existing staircase to create a seamless transition between floors.

It's all ready for carpeting, although it looks right at home already!

From the drawing board to the workshop floor ✨

This pigeon coup is a little different from our usual windows and doors, but every project starts the same way: detailed plans, careful craftsmanship and bringing an idea to life.

Phase 2 is coming along nicely 🔨

Outside is now fully clad, the concrete floor is down and next week the doors will be going in. Great progress on the new workshop build - it's really starting to take shape now.

Following on from the barn window, here's the door transformation - a before & after that really shows the journey 🚪

Fitted back in February, this bespoke door was designed to sit comfortably alongside the original character of the building, tying in with the window details for a cohesive finish.

Just a few months on, the natural oak sill is already mellowing beautifully, softening into that timeless silvery-grey that only comes with exposure to the elements 🌿

It's these small changes over time that really bring the whole project to life.

✨On this project our customers wanted to honour the original character of the property - The new window features a projection frame and vertical bars, all hung on traditional aged brass hinges for that authentic heritage feel.

Made from durable Accoya and finished in Farrow & Ball's beautiful Reduced Green it sits perfectly in the wing of the barn. The oak sill has been left natural and will gently weather to a soft grey over time 🌿

It started as just an old barn......tired, weathered but full of history, and it had stories in it waiting to be continued.

The client had a clear vision from the very beginning - to create a home that respected the building's past while shaping something truly personal.

With the right craftsmanship, that vision has been brought to life.
The joinery has been left natural on the outside to gently weather and turn grey over time, while inside it has been finished with a clear stain for a warmer feel.

What was once a worn agricultural space is now a home full of light, texture and meaning.
