We kindly ask that all dogs are kept on leads at all times while you are visiting.

This helps keep dogs, visitors, other animals and the wider community safe and comfortable.

It also helps prevent unwanted encounters and ensures everyone can enjoy the site.

A little update from Graham and Emma at The Waterfowl Sanctuary, Huntingdon.🦢

The five cygnets have settled in wonderfully and have been happily getting along with the other rescued cygnets and swans. They're all doing really well, and it's lovely to see them thriving.🤗

This week we had a sad goodbye at The Depot as the five remaining cygnets were safely rescued by Graham and Emma. They have now been taken to The Waterfowl Sanctuary, where they will receive the care they need.

We're sure they'll return next year. Sadly, their parents don't make the best decisions and often fly away, leaving them behind before they're quite ready to fend for themselves.

Graham and Emma are incredible volunteers, and we can't thank them enough for their quick response, expert advice, and the kindness and care they always show to the swans. We're so grateful to them and the whole team at The Waterfowl Sanctuary for everything they do.

A special thank you also goes to Ian, who has faithfully fed and kept a watchful eye on the swans over the past few months. Your dedication and care have been truly appreciated by everyone.

Now we just need to find Ian something else to do! 😊🦢

Safe travels, little ones – we'll be looking forward to seeing you back at The Depot next year. 🦢💙🩷
