NDL Group N Ltd at Priors Hall, Corby

Our team carried out pre-topping CCTV surveys of the site gullies, laterals and mains drainage ahead of surfacing works for the Nick Danea Nicu & Roads & Sewers Team 4 at M&J.

Collapsed sewer about 3m deep on private land. Not your usual domestic job.
Took a fair bit of planning with:
Property management Company
Insurance
Highways (road space & TM)
Temporary works engineer
Because of the depth and how close it was to buildings and boundary walls, we changed the plan and went with a safer diversion, still digging down to around 2.2m.
Works included:
Deep excavation with trench support
Temporary works
Sewer diversion & reinstatement
Muck away in a tight access
Removal and Rebuild of walls
Full TM and site safety
All done safely and to a High Standard
And of course… Standard job behaviour when you've got road space booked someone parked smack bang in the middle of our licensed work area, despite weeks of signage.

(The car was released from jail once the owner was located by Highways for us)

WRc Approved Patch Repairs by NDL

When a drainage defect is isolated to a specific section of pipework, full excavation or lining of the entire run isn’t always necessary.

Using WRc Approved CIPP Patch Repair Systems, we carry out fully structural localised trenchless repairs directly over:

▪️ Broken pipework
▪️ Open joints
▪️ Root ingress
▪️ Displaced connections
▪️ Infiltration points

Installed via inflatable packer, the pre-measured fibreglass mat is impregnated with a two-part silicate resin system and cured in place over the defect restoring the structural integrity of the host pipe without disturbing surrounding ground.

ADOPTABLE INFRASTRUCTURE FAILURE….

Post-completion CCTV survey of this newly installed road gully connection identified collapsed clay pipework within the line, resulting in a significant restriction to flow.

Surveys at this stage are essential to identify:
• Collapsed pipework
• Construction debris within the system
• Inconsistent or inadequate fall
• Potential restrictions to flow
• Installation defects prior to adoption

Undetected defects such as these can lead to standing water within the carriageway, increased risk of blockage, Road Surface Failure, failed inspections and delays to adoption.

Early identification through CCTV Surveying & Reporting allows defects to be rectified prior to final sign-off, reducing the risk of future operational issues and costly remedial works.

Our services include high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ), CCTV drainage surveys, patch lining, repairs, and investigations for commercial clients, facilities managers, and developers.

As the business continues to grow, the Managing Director will be returning to site operations, and we are therefore looking to appoint an organised and proactive Office Administrator / Job Management Coordinator/ CCTV report writing, to support day-to-day office functions and ensure jobs are managed efficiently from start to finish.

Role Overview

This role is central to the smooth running of the business. You will be responsible for job management, system administration, financial processing, and reporting, acting as the link between site teams, management, and clients.

You will work closely with directors and engineers to ensure jobs are correctly logged, tracked, invoiced, and closed off with accurate documentation.
