Great to see one of our partners, Michelle Edgar, connecting with fellow local business owners at today’s Down Business Connect networking meeting. These gatherings are invaluable for sharing ideas, building relationships and supporting our community and we always enjoy being a part of them.

Down Business Connect was back at Denvir's of Downpatrick this morning after our summer break — and what a lively return! The only thing brighter than the sunrise was the conversation. 🌅💬

We were delighted to welcome new member Gerry Trainor from EECO Energy, who gave a fascinating member presentation on solar energy and how it can benefit both your business and your home. ☀️🏡 Plenty of networking was done — proof that early mornings can be worth it.

On Friday 27th June 2025, four Solicitors from our office had the privilege to attend the retirement dinner of His Honour Judge Geoffrey Miller KC, alongside fellow members of the Ards and North Down Solicitors Association and members of the Bar of Northern Ireland. HHJ Miller KC has been sitting as a County Court Judge since 2009 and in his current seat in Downpatrick Crown Court since 2019. Known in the Legal profession for his compassion, empathy and humanity, HHJ Miller’s retirement will be a loss to the profession.
Thank you to Mr Fullerton, Chair of the Ards and North Down Solicitors Association, for organising such a wonderful evening which gave our Solicitors the opportunity to not only wish HHJ Miller well on his retirement, but also to connect and reconnect with fellow members of the profession.
