Signage is now up for our new office in Low Fell!

We have been delighted to have been able to retain the former conveyancing staff from Hathaways who through no fault of their own found themselves without employment following the closure of Hathaways in December. The conveyancing team wanted to remain working in Low Fell to provide legal services to the Low Fell and the surrounding areas. We are delighted to have been able to make this happen and to expand upon the services available to the community.

You will have all heard the first Monday in January being called “Divorce Day” which is supposedly when divorce enquiries peak after the holidays.

There may be some truth in this due to a number of reasons - Christmas putting relationships under pressure, financial pressures building in the household, expectations running high and forced time together can lead to conflict.

However for many, a bit of quiet time can simply lead to some honest reflection in terms of their relationship.

Consideration of the New Year ahead can lead to decisions about how you want things to look going forward. I would encourage anyone thinking about separation to speak to a family solicitor first and find out where you stand.
