FAQ - I have no assets, do I still need a will?

It’s very important to have a will even if you own no assets as guardians should be named for anyone under the age of 18. A guardian is the person legally responsible for looking after your children if you die before they turn 18. If you don't appoint a guardian, it's ultimately left up to the courts to decide what's best for your children, so choosing guardians in your will is very important.
