📣 We’re hiring! 📣

We’re looking for maternity cover for our Head of Residential Conveyancing in our Mossley office, with the hope that the right person will continue to work as a fee earner in the team when the Head returns from maternity.

The role is full-time and office-based. The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing and the confidence in looking after a 100+ caseload in sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, leases, requisitions, transfer of equity, deeds of variation, title review, restriction/legal charge removal, first registration and adverse possession. The candidate must also be familiar with CQS requirements.

Some benefits of working at Harold Stock & Co include a pension scheme, 20 days holiday pro-rata increasing with length of service and an additional holiday on your birthday.

We’d like the perfect candidate to start immediately so they can work alongside our current Head of Residential Conveyancing before she takes her leave in May 2026.

💥 Apprenticeship completed! 💥

We’d like to congratulate Owen Rawley on receiving a Distinction in his Business Administration apprenticeship. He joined us in November 2023 as an apprentice, and as a result of his hard work, we have offered him a role as an Administration and Wills & Probate Assistant.

Owen is now training with the Wills and Probate team. “My aspirations in the company are to progress towards being a paralegal and eventually become a fee earner for Harold Stock & Co.”

✨Newly qualified Chartered Licensed Conveyancer! ✨

Congratulations to Rachael Chamley who has recently qualified as a Chartered Licensed Conveyancer whilst simultaneously keeping the Conveyancing department at our Mossley office running smoothly.

Rachael has been in the conveyancing sector since 2014 and a fee earner since 2015. When the opportunity arose to become a licensed conveyancer, she jumped at the chance to prove herself and further her knowledge.

“The last year has been hard work completing the Level 6 qualification whilst working full time with a 5-year-old, but it has ultimately been worth it, as I can finally say I am a licensed conveyancer, and I am extremely proud of that fact.”

She says the support from her team has been paramount to her success, “They have been there cheering me on through every step! I could not have better people to work with!”
