The Bay Information Hub

The Bay Information Hub It is a free, community service, run by volunteers. The Bay Information Hub, is held on the first Friday of every month, 1.30pm - 3.30pm at EITHER St.

The Bay Information Hub offers guidance, support and information to both carers and people affected by dementia, Parkinson's, MND, MSA, Huntingtons and other neurological conditions. Paul's Church Hall in Lancaster, or the Trimpell Club in Morecambe. The Hub is a unique, community based service with open access for the Bay's residents with dementia, and other neurological conditions such as Parkin

son's, their families, friends and carers as well as people who may be worried about their memory. The Bay Information Hub offers a large range of information and guidance which will be delivered in partnership with many organisations and individuals, eg dementia nurses, a range of support groups for both people with dementia and carers, dementia researchers, lawyers, financial advisers and benefits advisers to name but a few. The Alzheimer's Society will also be on hand to offer advice and arrange home visits if required. The venues offer a relaxing environment, where you can sit and have a cup of tea and a chat in an informal setting.

Good day, to you all,
Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday and not too burnt, no not yourself I was talking about the burgers!!! Well, the air is cleared again after last night/ this morning’s thunderstorm.

This month’s talk will be presented by
Laura Roberts and Anne Oliver
from Age UK Lancashire.
“Morecambe Day Services and Cognitive Stimulation Therapy” at 2pm.

There will also be tea / coffee and biscuit's available.
For those who would like to reminisce with some background music, please come and join me in the bar area.

Many thanks to everyone who helped with the North Lancashire Bridleways Society annual ride in April. The generous donation to the Bay Hub will support its running, carer support access to training and cognitive stimulation therapy in the near future

This evening's meeting started with the presentation of a cheque of funds raised from our recent ride to our chosen charity partner for this year The Bay Information Hub. Thank you to all riders who took part last month, and especially to all our volunteer helpers.

Well it was great to be back at the The Bay Information Hub after missing 2 months. Getting the camera out, yes I missed it. So I would like to say a big thanks to all the service providers and the volunteers keeping the group running.
Hopefully I've done you all justice with the photo's.

Hello everyone, where is time going? This Friday the 1st May we are at the:
St Paul's Parish Church
Scotforth Road, Lancaster LA1 4TS
for our monthly Bay Information Hub. From1.30 pm - 3.30 pm, with a Talk from Jody Ross, Advocacy Focus. "Advocacy Support and how it could help you" @ 2pm.

There will also be an area set aside, if you would like to listen to some background music and have a chat.

Hello everyone it's nearly Easter time my favourite. No Hub on the 3rd April.
So the next The Bay Information Hub will be on the 10th April @ Trimpell Club 1.30 - 3.30 with a talk at 2pm "Let's Talk total care at Spec Savers"
Tea, Coffee & biscuits also available. There will be plenty of voulenteers around and service users to talk to.

Well good day to everyone, we're heading into the 2nd Information Hub & Cafe, of the year on 6th March 2026 at :
St Pauls Parish Hall, Scotforth Road, Lancaster. LA1 4TS
From 1.30 - 3.30 with a talk at 2pm.
The talk will be given by,
Kristina Smith-Birchill, Blackburn Law. "LPAs getting your legal affairs in order"
Tea, coffee & cake available.

There will be some music in a separate area for those to reminisce in time or just to have a chat.
