After an incredible legal career, we say a fond farewell and happy retirement to Nerys.

Qualifying as a Solicitor in 1998, Nerys began her career specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence before joining Llewellyn-Jones in 2014. Embracing a new challenge, she developed a specialism in private client and conveyancing, becoming a trusted advisor to so many clients and families over the years.

Between 2019 and 2023, Nerys also supported the firm as a Director, demonstrating unwavering dedication and leadership. She worked across both our Mold and, more recently, Ruthin office, where she continued to provide exceptional support to clients following Delyth’s retirement.

Her unquestionable loyalty and commitment to Llewellyn-Jones will leave a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. The care, compassion, and professionalism she has shown throughout her career will undoubtedly mean that generations of her clients and their families continue to place their trust in us for years to come.

We thank Nerys for her years of service, friendship, and dedication, and we wish her a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.

We are delighted to announce that Lauren Thomas will qualify as a Solicitor tomorrow (16th May) following the successful completion of her training contract with the firm.

Throughout her training, Lauren has demonstrated dedication, professionalism and a strong commitment to client care, and we are very pleased that she will continue her career with us as a qualified Solicitor.

Lauren will work across both our Mold and Ruthin offices and will predominantly undertake Private Client work, assisting clients with matters including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Estate Planning.

Fluent in Welsh, Lauren is able to assist clients in both Welsh and English, supporting our commitment to providing bilingual legal services.

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Glesni Griffiths from Legal Assistant to Paralegal.

Since joining the firm, Glesni has become a valued member of the team, demonstrating commitment, professionalism and a strong willingness to develop her legal knowledge and experience. Glesni is working across both Commercial and Private Client matters.

Fluent in Welsh, Glesni is able to assist clients in both Welsh and English, supporting our commitment to providing bilingual legal services.

Alongside her role within the firm, Glesni is currently studying to qualify as a Solicitor via the SQE route.

We are pleased to support Glesni in her continued professional development and look forward to seeing her progress further in her legal career.
