Chron’s & Colitis UK 💜

They are the leading charity here in the UK that are dedicated to supporting those affected by inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), primarily Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. They offer patient support, fund medical research, and campaign to improve healthcare and awareness.

They exist for the estimated 1 in 120 people in the UK navigating these lifelong, incurable gut conditions. Their community includes patients, families, friends, and the medical professionals who treat them. They are the nominated recipients of May’s £100 donation.

PAUL SARTORI 🫶🏻

The Paul Sartori Foundation provides end of life care in Pembrokeshire. They offer free specialised, supportive care and advice for those in the later stages of any life-limiting illness, providing a range of services in the patient’s home. They assist not only the patient but also those close to the patient during the illness and through the bereavement period.

The Hospice at Home service is available 365 days of the year and operates a 24/7 on-call service.

Providing an invaluable service that is vital to the county. They are the nominated recipients of April’s £100 donation.

FOREVER 11 🪽

A local charity set up after the tragic and untimely passing of Zac Thompson, who lost his life after being swept in to the sea in 2022. The charity focuses its efforts on raising awareness of water safety, highlighting the importance on ensuring that children and young people have the opportunity to learn to swim.

Being based in a county in which the sea is an integral part, we cannot endorse the work these guys do highly enough. They are the nominated recipients of March’s £100 donation.

BREAST CANCER NOW 🎀

Breast Cancer Now are the research and support charity. Their world-class researchers are working in labs across the UK and Ireland to create a world where the words “breast cancer” aren’t met with fear. They offer a helpline, health information, and support services to those suffering and their loved ones.

Breast Cancer has effected most people’s lives & we have been affected within Team P&K too. So February’s £100 donation has headed straight to .

CHALLENGE COMPLETE! 💪🏼

The end of February sees the end of our Century in Motion challenge! We set out to complete 100 miles a week between team P&K & the teams & .

We have absolutely smashed that target completing a grand total of 887.95 miles over the course of the month!

This last week we’ve all been hit with the seasonal cough and colds but we still got it done! Check out the photos to see where we have been on our adventures!
