Exciting News

After 20 years at Charnwood House, Latham & Co are moving our Loughborough branch to new offices.

Our new offices are First Floor 44- 46 Forest Road, less than a 5 minute walk from Charnwood House.

So close, we haven’t even changed our postcode.

This is a fantastic and progressive move for the firm. We will be in modern offices which have been designed to better serve our clients and support our growing team both now and into the future.

The move will ensure that we can continue to provide you with the service you expect and deserve from us.

We are recruiting a Private Client Lawyer

Full time – Immediate Start – will consider part time for the right candidate

At Latham & Co, we have an opening for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to work in our established Private Client Department based at our Loughborough Office.


We are a very long established High Street practice with offices in Melton Mowbray and Loughborough. We have an extensive and varied client base, which has been nurtured over many years, and we provide legal services to clients throughout Leicestershire and beyond.


You should be at least 3 years’ PQE, and have expert knowledge advising in the following areas:

Wills

Estate & inheritance planning

LPAs

Probate

Complex Estates & administration

Trusts


You would be responsible for your own caseload (under the supervision of a Partner).

You should be:

Experienced in handling a Private Client caseload

A good communicator understanding and empathising with the clients’ requirements

Able to contribute towards the firm’s values as to the provision of an efficient, effective service whilst

being approachable ;

Proficient in using legal software tools and case management systems, and

STEP qualified or interested in undertaking the STEP qualification

The salary will be competitive, with generous holiday allowance and the option to work from home where appropriate.
