Three office moves, one sustainable approach.

Across all three moves, we focused on reusing, repurposing and donating furniture and equipment rather than sending it to landfill, working with TRACO | Certified B Corp to support reuse and recycling wherever possible.

The impact speaks for itself:

Over 1,514kg of material reused

Over 2,770kg of material recycled

And most importantly… 0 items sent to landfill

Our Wine Club returned this month with a New Zealand vs Australia tasting 🍷🧀

The team enjoyed putting the wines head-to-head while enjoying a selection of cheese boards paired with the evening’s wines.

A brilliant evening of good company, great conversation and discovering a few new favourites.

Our HR team were pleased to welcome three trainees from the National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) to our office for work experience today where they took part in interview skills sessions.

We enjoyed hearing more about the wonderful work the Trust does and sharing advice on employability with the trainees.

This month’s book club read was The Names by Florence Knapp 📚

A great one with lots of different opinions, a few debates, and plenty to chat about. Funny how the same book can land so differently with everyone around the table.

Looking forward to the next read!

Dave Matthews and Samantha Bellia had a great time attending Feast in a Spin with Paul Merchant from MyMarlow and Gemma Parr.

Located as a pop-up experience on Marlow High Street, Feast in a Spin is a fresh new multi-sensory dining concept set inside a retro laundrette.

From the moment you climb through a washing machine into a ball pit, you know this isn’t going to be an ordinary evening. It only gets more unexpected from there, with a brilliantly creative and fully immersive dining experience throughout.

Even the dessert included edible washing-up liquid!

Thank you to Paul Merchant for the invitation.

We’re pleased to share that our Head of Family, Sadie Glover, has co-written a new book, A Practical Guide to Pets on Divorce for Family Lawyers.

Written alongside Estella Newbold-Brown and featuring a foreword by Sir Nicholas Mostyn, the book explores the increasingly important role of pets in divorce and how they are considered in family law proceedings.

The book is now available from Law Brief Publishing Ltd and Amazon and provides practical insight into an evolving area of family law.

We're delighted to be sponsoring MyMarlow! It’s always great to support initiatives that bring people and businesses together locally. Paul does a fantastic job at keeping all of us connected.

We are delighted to announce solicitors Bl**er Mills Law as a new MyMarlow.co.uk website sponsor! It costs us to host and maintain the website for the benefit of the community, so we really do appreciate the financial support of local businesses willing to help us out. They are a great bunch of people too! 😊 More details in our article, link in comments.
