Important – Skilled Worker Visa Conditions (UK)
Under the Skilled Worker visa:
*Supplementary Employment (Extra 20 Hours)*
You can work up to 20 hours per week for another employer only if you are actively working in your sponsored main role.

The extra work must:
• Be outside your normal working hours
• Be in an occupation eligible under the Skilled Worker route

*Voluntary Work*
You may undertake voluntary work as defined under the National Minimum Wage Act 1998. You must not be paid, except for reasonable expenses (e.g. travel costs).
Legal definition:

*Examples of Voluntary Work (Unpaid):*
• Charity shop helper
• Food bank assistant
• Community event volunteer
• Faith centre helper
If you are paid (other than expenses), it is not voluntary work.
