We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working and enthusiastic individual to assist with the administration/smooth running of the firm from the start of January 2023. We are a firm specialising in all types of Person Injury including RTA, Employer's Liability, Occupier's Liability, Public Liability, Industrial Disease, Medical Negligence and Holiday Sickness.

As part of the role, you will carry out administrative duties. Your daily tasks will include:

· Accurately putting new matters onto our Case Management System (Proclaim)
· Scanning on new incoming post onto the system on a daily basis
· Taking incoming telephone calls and dealing with client queries/update requests
· Weighing and franking mail and ensuring it is sent out on a daily basis
· Managing a spreadsheet of new cases coming in from different sources
· Writing out cheques and dealing with various invoices
· Filing cases away into cabinets
· Managing stationery and replenishing the same
· Making appointments and arrange meetings as appropriate
· Undertaking a range of tasks as directed including fee earner tasks and under close supervision
· Maintaining and developing communication between fee earners, staff and representatives
We need our staff to have the following:

Essential:

· Excellent IT Skills with the ability to work with a Case Management System, databases and normal office IP systems
· Experience of working with the general public and a friendly, sensitive and cooperative approach to clients
· Good knowledge and understanding of procedures and protocol
· Good practical skills
· The ability to adhere to strict time limits
· Strong interpersonal, organisational and prioritising skills
· The ability to prioritise work when necessary
· The ability to provide the highest standards of client care
· Excellent attention to detail to all work undertaken
The role is perfect for someone looking to continue a career in the legal industry or in an office as the scope for promotion for the right candidate is excellent. The candidate will be working closely alongside other fee earners and two partners at the firm.

In addition, the candidate will have an opportunity to broaden their legal work experience by assisting in all areas of personal injury claims. The candidate will be eased into the role, given full training and guidance and nurtured slowly into realising their potential.

The offered salary will be extremely competitive and well in line with market rates. The working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and is predominantly an office-based job.
